We’re swimmers. In the summer of 2008 someone suggested that we complete the Save the Bay swim across Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. It was exhilarating. In 2009 we swam across Buzzard’s Bay in Massachusetts. Two states down, 48 to go.
If you know of a good, long distance (1 mile or longer) open water swim event in your state, drop us a line. Salt water is preferred, but not required, especially for landlocked states or those that have cool “across the lake” type swims.
